Magnesium glucinate

I had an appointment with a Menopause specialist doctor. She suggested I take Magnesium glucinate. Does anyone know where I can get hold of it?

Nothing stocked in Boots or Superdrug. I went in to Holland and Barrett today and (despite an article about it on their website) they said they didn't sell it.

Anyone know of any reputable stockists. Don't really want to buy it off Amazon- the only place I have found it so far.

I get mine from Amazon. It's been fine.

Did you mean glycinate? I buy mine off Amazon too. It's fine.

Nutrition geeks.
I would recommend.

I was also going to recommend Nutrition Geeks.

I got mine on line too!

I buy 'New Leaf' off Amazon. Been using it a year now, it's a miracle product. I sleep better than before I had children and I'm now in peri with teenagers.

Droolylabradors · 14/02/2024 19:07

And it's 'Glycinate' just to help the search with the right spelling (not because I'm trying to be pedantic I promise)

Droolylabradors · 14/02/2024 19:08

Holland and barret don't have sufficient strength of magnesium.

In peri meno, you need 300-400g of elemental magnesium. Which means each dose should be about 1000mcg of magnesium (I take two of the 'new leaf' tablets)

I get Nutrition Geeks, you can get them on Amazon or their own website I think. I'm not in menopause but it's helped my sleep and period pain massively

Thanks. Follow up letter from consultant definitely has glucinate as the spelling so their mistake not mine! Odd that it isn't stocked other than Amazon. Will keep looking thanks for recommendations, I think I have seen Nutrition Geeks IRL so will look for that- thank you!
