How long did it take for you to notice a difference in your menopause symptoms

I've just started the combined patch, only on my first patch and due to swap it today.

I have had awful itching and insomnia previously, last 3 nights no itching, skin rashes fading, slept better. I'm not even as achy in the morning, despite being ill and full of cold.

Is this placebo effect or can it really start to make a difference so fast?

I slept properly straight away (on Oestrogel and Utrogestan). The other symptoms faded away over a month or so

Very quickly. Even the testosterone worked within a week.

Oh wow, I honestly thought it was me imagining things. This is hopeful!

Similarly, I slept significantly better within the first week and gradual improvement of other symptoms.

Almost 2 weeks in now.
Over the last two nights I've noticed the rubbish sleep and the itching creeping back in. Does this mean I'll end up needing to go on a higher dose maybe?

Also on a positive note, I'm very happy to report the reappearance of orgasms!

On month 4 here. Already had an increase in oestrogen and progesterone and added testosterone into the mix and STILL miserable. It's 5pm and I'm in bed because I cannot bear to be around anyone. Left work early too. Bad, negative mood, tired despite 8 hours sleep last night and boobs I would happily have removed they hurt so much 😭.

Feeling sorry for myself but also for my family who have to live with me.

Encouraged to see others positive responses though as I hope to join your gang one of these months 🤞
