Cold flashes?

Has anyone had cold flashes? Instead of or as well as hot flashes?

This seems to me my latest awful symptom (added to a long list) and seems to come alongside palpitations and sometimes an anxiety attack (which often happens with palpitations as they just freak me out).

My whole bottom half of body from feet up just suddenly feels freezing, then over the course of about 10-20 mins I feel very, very cold and shivery. Then it slowly ebbs off and I feel ‘normal’ again.

When I hat hot flushes (every 10-15 minutes at one stage) they were followed up by feeling freezing cold, almost like when you have a fever and you're too warm under the covers but too cold without them.

Have you had your thyroid tested? Underactive thyroid made me so cold I felt ill.
