Bleeding with Evorel 50 & Mirena Coil

Just wondering if it’s normal to have a monthly bleed when using Evorel 50 patches combined with the Mirena Coil. I’d had the Mirena for a year and had no bleeding but since I’ve started using Evorel 50 patches, I’m getting a significant bleed each month. Is this to be expected?

I would definitely check it out and ask your GP for a scan. I had the same issue with Evorel patches and a mirena and went to GP as it was getting heavier each month. All was fine with scan and afterwards I swapped to gel and things are much better with only a very light bleed each month.

I have coil and Estradot patches and I bled continually for 5 months. I had an ultrasound to check all ok (it was). It has settled down now, sporadic bleeding, spotting, few days of nothing, but it's costing an absolute fortune in products.

Had a chat with GP last week and she has upped my patch to 100 and said they will do another US scan if bleeding doesnt stop completely.

I wish it would just stop and I would feel like 'me' again.

I had this recently on the 75mg patch. I had a scan today & my coil is displaced & I have a fibroid. So it’s deffo worth talking to your GP.
