Shortage of Evorel Conti?

Has anyone had issues getting their prescription for Evorel Conti at the moment. I was only being prescribed four weeks at a time and have now been told by boots there is a manufacturer shortage and none available at all. I have been advised to go back to my GP to get something else ? Has anyone had the same issue and been given a suitable alternative?

Is conti the one which is just oestrogen? I've only been allowed a box at a time for 8 months.

Its a combination of estrogen and northisterone I think!

I’m on everol 50 and utrogestan. Got my px for 3 months just before Christmas without any problems. My regime would be a suitable alternative x

I've just started on this.. switched from femoston. The chemist only had one box and said they needed to order in more to fulfil the order.. I'm now wondering if this is going to be a problem 😩

Separate oestrogen and progesterone are much better, the conti patches only come in one strength.. You can have oestrogen only patches, or the gel or spray and utrogestan and both can be tweaked for symptoms and to control any bleeding ,

Oh dear. I hope this isn't going to be a problem. I have sequi, so a mix of those and the conti patches.

I finally got some . Apparently there are two major suppliers and the one that boots uses is affected. My GP rang around and managed to find an independent who has some!
