Bleeding on everol sequi

Hi all, I'm on the 50 patches and I bleed ever 21 days, does anyone else experience this?
Last year I was initially put on them, felt great then after a few months at review, felt I needed a bit more. They added another 25 patch but only on the oestrogen part. I asked whether the second part of the patch needed increasing and 3 Dr's said no. Went on them then a few weeks later the Dr rang and said they were wrong. Asked me how frequent my periods were. Told them 21 days. They told me to stop and sent me for a scan. All came back OK but it frightened me as I already have high anxiety with peri. Anyway went back on them and bleeding ever 21 days give or take. I've decided to come off and only been off for 2 weeks but feel awful, so low, aches and pains. So not sure whether to just cut a patch in half so it would be 25 and start increasing. My gp surgery is giving me no faith at all and thinking of paying to go private. I'm so confused.

You are meant to bleed on sequi patches as it is for peri women. You usually bleed when finishing the combined patch and back on the oestrogen only patch. It is a withdrawal bleed from stopping progesterone. What they should be done once increasing to 75 is give you a oestrogen 75 patch and separate progesterone like utrogestan otherwise you can get breakthrough bleeding as progesterone may non be high enough.

Thanks for the reply, but looking at my cycles the breakthrough bleeds where when I was starting or mid way through the combined patch.

I had bleeding that wasn't in sync with my HRT, I don't think I was absorbing the progesterone and my womb lining had built up. No one seemed very interested in my concerns about the HRT and my cycle, including the private clinic that prescribed it, until I started to get constant bleeding. I was unfortunate enough for it to be cancer, so I wish that somebody had listened to my concerns. Carry on going back if you're not happy.

Also OP youre bleeding will be irregular and you will feel rubbish as you are swopping the amount of oestrogen through the cycle oestrogen needs to be constants you shouldn’t be swooping from 50-75 and back again through the cycle.
sounds like you need to 75 eostogen only patch and separate progesterone. If you are postmenopausal not had a natural period for over 12 months you go on a continuous regime and you do not bleed. if Peri you take the progesterone for two weeks a month and you can expect a bleed .x
