My periods started to become irregular a year ago. Blood tests confirmed perimenopause and as I am 43 my doctor prescribed hrt patches. I've read the instructions which said you could start them whenever if your periods are irregular which I did. I had a feeling last week I was getting PMS symptoms and sure enough 7 days after starting the patches my period has arrived. Do I just continue them as normal and my cycle will adjust itself?
