Estrogel/Sandrena - once or twice per day?

I'm just preparing ahead of my appointment next week with Dr Naomi Potter's private practice and although I've had issues with Estrogel re: product consistency in the past, I want to try to keep my options open. I only need estrogen as i'm in surgical menopause.

I just wanted to ask as I hope I can get away with once daily dosing if this works for those of you who use it? I have demanding care duties so the twice daily application would be too much of an inconvenience. I am hobbling along on a patch in the meantime but know that my skin breaks down over time with any brand of patch I use.

Thank you for any advice/experiences you can kindly share.

I was on Oestrogel for a few years and have just recently moved to patches. I applied 4 pumps daily and applied once daily for a few years then switched to twice daily as my GP suggested it. I noticed no difference with either way so I would just apply it as it suits you.

I’m on Sandrena, I apply mine in the morning only.

Thank you, @BuddhaAtSea and @pharmachameleon. I am so glad to hear once daily application worked for you both.
