Utrogestan tablets

Please help a newbie - my tablets say to take 2 on days 15-28 of cycle - but what cycle is that?! I'm still having periods but they're very irregular so no cycle as such.
I've also been given Oestrogel.

If you are still having period but irregular you take gel every day as appropriate. Just start. Then count to 14 days . The progesterone which I assume is utrogestan is taken on day 15 to day 28. So two weeks on and off. You will then bleed at end of two weeks on utrogestan or at end of utrogestan.
