Hello, has anyone managed to get the old style oestrogel estradiol bottles from their pharmacy or am I flogging a dead horse and need to be prescribed something new? The pic bottle on the left, as my symptoms have flooded back with the new style.

Mine too! Can't handle it so going back to patches. Did you feel wired and unable to sleep? It's been awful tried for 6 weeks relieved to see it's not just me. I hope you get it sorted.

@Nature2024 it's been awful, all symptoms back on my usual 4 pump dose. I was feeling really good on the old bottles. I knkw there have been a lot of ladies wondering if its not despensing as much or the active ingredient isnt as strong, but all the ingredients are the same.
What patch do you use? I've only ever tried the gel as there was a shortage of some when I was first prescribed hrt.
I'm back at my gp next week so not sure what to ask for to try next.

Just lost my answer so trying again! I'm currently trying Estraderm 75mg but there are many others. Everol, FemSeven (irritated my skin) and Estradot.
I've listened to a great podcast with a Dr Mary Claire all about the menopause it aired on 18th Dec 2023 on the Diary of a CEO with Steven Bartlett.
Do push to see your Doctor I've now got an appointment at a menopause clinic.
Take care x

I gave up and moved on to Lenzetto (spray) which has been a revelation - dries much, much faster and you don't get it on your hands.
