What's going on with this bleeding?

I'm on Evorel Sequi patches, since 7 Nov. I wasn't able to start them on the first day of a cycle as my period just didn't arrive. Eventually the doctor said to just start the patches.

Month 1: some very light bleeding which started about Day 5 and lasted about 5 days

Month 2: heavy bleeding started Day 22 and lasted 8 days

Month 3: bleeding started Day 10 (yesterday). This is only 10 days since my last period (I know it's not really a period) ended.

What's going on? Will the bleeding eventually settle into a monthly cycle?

If it's any help, my GP advised that with any new HRT regime it can take up to six months for bleeding to settle into a regular pattern. That means if you then change to a different strength or type of hrt, the six months starts again. It's early days basically, but if it's worrying you it wouldn't hurt to speak to your GP.

Thanks, that's good to know a pattern will hopefully establish at some point. I wondered whether not starting the HRT on day 1 had confused everything. Not worried so much as inconvenienced!
