Surprise poo before period 🎉

So this is becoming more regular, that the day I'm going to come on or just before, I get a pump that isn't a pump at all & is, instead, a surprise & very liquid poo. Yay for me.

No cramps or pain or warning.

Am mid 40's, recently had the copper coil out, periods still regular but sooo much lighter & shorter. Had an iron infusion which worked brilliantly back in February, recent bloods all clear on inflammation etc.

So is this really a thing for me now?

I used to have similar due to hormone change

I don't get that but I do get looser movements (?) a day or so before my period starts, I think it's fairly common. Incontinence though not so much , maybe book a doctor's appointment if it keeps happening

*November, not February

I don't suffer incontinence at any other time, urinary either. Which is why this catches me out

Someone on mumsnet once referred to it as javelin arse.

Yup. Every month. Lovely.

That's not what javelin arse is, Javelin arse is a very sharp pain up the bottom and up inside you. If you've had it, you'll know. V painful.
