Perimenopause or mirena

How would I know if I'm starting to miss periods due to perimenopause or the mirena coil? I've had the coil for five years and never missed a period. I turned 38 and then it didn't show. I had two more and now it's a no-show again. I tried asking my mum when her menopause started and was told several conflicting ages (that's normal for her but not helpful to me). My maternal grandma had a hysterectomy before she naturally reached that stage. I've also done pregnancy tests just in case and they're negative.

Regarding the coil being in 5 years, I've had an email from the doctors saying they now change it every six years.
