Pharmacy Stock Checker of any use?

Hey all,

I made a website not long ago to help those with ADHD find medication from boots pharmacy's during a global shortage. The website shows the locations of the different pharmacies that have the item in stock on a map so its easier to visualize and I also solved the problem that boots have when you search for an item and it says "sorry something went wrong" . It is completely free to use and Im trying my best to continue to have it this way.

From this I have had a lot of requests for various HRT medications and was pointed in the direction of mumsnet. I have already added a few for example Estradot included image of the map) but if this is something that people would find useful Im more than happy to add other items.

This is amazing! I've spent a week trying to get my prescription sorted. I've been calling different pharmacies and switching my brand/dosage only to go back and find the pharmacy is now out of stock!!!!! I am so so grateful for this.

This is such a great idea but it isn't up to date in my experience. Trying to source Concerta for my child and having phoned all of the pharmacies where it is apparently in stock, they are saying they haven't had it for days.

@BenF3 where are you getting your info on stock from?

Would love if it could work with other pharmacies too as our local ones aren’t Boots.

It doesn't link to any other pharmacies.

FWIW the British Menopause Society has a list on their website of drugs/shortages which is usually reasonably up to date.
You may need to navigate the site and use the search facility.https://thebms.org.uk/

It doesn't give pharmacies but it does give info on what's out of stock and when it might be back in stock.

Just want to say that I came across this post and it is a lifesaver. Thank you. Just changed prescribers to an in-person service from the online one I’ve been using to realise that nowhere in my area has any stock of my medication. I travel a lot so this is genuinely life-changing for me, especially as it has all different pharmacies on it now. Thank you, again.
