Hi everyone - I'm early 50s, been experiencing symptoms for a while now, anxiety, dark mood, short-temper, lack of energy, no interest in anything etc.
I don't know if I should try anti-depressants or HRT, or both! They all make me nervous!
I was wondering if anyone has tried the "natural" supplements instead? These seem to consist of soy or red clover isoflavens, and various vitamins, minerals and herb type things. Does anyone have any experience of these, good, bad or no effect? Thanks in advance!

I’ve been taking the Boots Menopause &Me supplements for a few months - you take a multivitamin and a herbal tablet each day. I think they’re pretty good. I’ve been sleeping better and feeling more energetic since I started taking them.

I am taking evening primrose and Calcium/vit d, I am sleeping better and my hot flashes have gone. I did try red clover but bizarrely they made my hot flushes worse
