Irregular bleeding

I'm 52 . Still having periods roughly every 3 weeks .
There were just over 5 weeks since my last period and I was starting to think "maybe this is my periods coming to an end' . But then I got a short (3 day) 'normal' period .
9 days on from this and I have had light bleeding again. Not heavy enough to need a sanitary towel but light bleeding . Which has been going on for a week now. I'm getting very anxious about it .
Does anyone have any experience of this or any advice ?
Thank you ❤️

Don’t be anxious, irregular bleeding isn’t uncommon, but you do need it checking.
Have a think about a mirena coil to reduce/stop periods.

Thank you for your kind reply .
I am a bit of a hypochondriac !
At this stage of life I hate that feeling of losing control of my body and not knowing what it will spring on me next .
