Lost patch

I have just noticed that my Evorel Sequi patch has come off 😫

I've found it and tried to put it back on, but I think it will fall off again. I only put it on, Thursday.

I have one left (DIL collected my prescription so I'll be getting it off her NYE) so I think it may be better to use that, but I'm a bit worried about being a patch short and I'm not entirely sure which side it was on 🫣

Has this happened with anyone else? Did you have problems getting more patches?

Why does the side matter? I just shove mine on wherever theres a clear bit of skin.

And use the patch you have and just get your next prescription early.

I sometimes mess putting mine on so my prescription dates are all over the place!

I thought you were supposed to alternate what side you put it and not in the same place twice, in the same week 🧐

I've put my last one on, was just unsure if the dr would give me more as I am very new to using hrt.

I've never heard that about where to put it!

And I think you are overestimating how much attention surgeries pay to repeat prescription requests.

I often order early for holidays or because I haven't got enough for one reason or another.

I always alternate different sides of my bum but if you can’t tell which side then just go for any. As PP said you just put your prescription in a few days earlier.

I put a reminder on my phone which side to put it on otherwise I forget!

I change patch twice a week, so Tuesday is always left leg and Saturday is always right leg. I don't have to think if I've changed it cos I know by the day / leg whether I have or not.

As I take my patch off I put another one in straight away so don’t need a reminder for which side, do have a reminder on Alexa though for the 2 days a week to change 😂😂

Put the new one on, the old one won't stick properly.
Then order the next lot a bit early and try to build a small reserve.

Just order early although I ordered a couple of extra boxes off Internet pharmacy to make sure I don't run out if shortages cropped again

I've had trouble before, when ordering my thyroid medication "too early". I'm only in my first month of using these patches.

That's what I usually do, but it came off and I have a sieve for a brain, so can't remember what side it was on 🫣😂

I change mine Monday and Thursday, so think I'll have to start making a note just incase lol

I've put it on the bottom of my tummy this time, as it rubbed off my thigh.

Never lost a patch

I did the first 2 there but was very conscious of it, so moved to my thigh. I think it was more because it was something new, than placement, so think I might try there again, next time.

Definitely not doing the inside of my thigh again, as it made the skin quite sore.
