Horrific back pain

Hoping someone can help.
I haven't had a period for a while and have been having the most awful back and stomach pains for the past week.

I can't get comfy and I'm in so much pain.

Is this normal? What can I do?

I would go to GP if I were you, OP. Could it be a UTI? V common as one gets a little older.

I'll do that. I'm in agony

No I don't think that's normal. Get yourself a gp appointment. I hope all is ok.

Consider going to A & E, too, OP. Obviously we can't tell what you have, but UTIs can be very nasty if left untreated. Best wishes x

Is there any chance you could be pregnant?

Gooseysgirl · 29/12/2023 15:35

I know this is menopause threads but no harm to rule it out!

It was terrible back pain that was the start of me first buying a new mattress, which didn't help, and then trying HRT, which stopped it completely! I was having to get in the bath at midnight to try and ease the pain but hrt did it for me.

I'll definitely go and get checked out. It's awful and I can't get comfy at all.

I'm absolutely not pregnant and have no normal UTI symptoms.
