Just would like to hear other's stories, done under general anesthetic and just wondering how I will be feeling afterwards. Thanks in advance. Still getting heavy periods at 54 and hope this stops them.

I had a GA and apart from being very sick from the anaesthetic afterwards, it was literally only a few days until I felt completely back to normal. However, I'd also had a mirena fitted during the op and that took a bit longer to settle down.

Good luck OP and hope it sorts things out for you.

Thank you so much for your reply. Every doctor I have seen keep trying to push mirena coil onto me but I declined as single and just not something I wanted. Hope you are well and things better also.
