Odd menopause symptom? Weakness/fatigue in legs

I am 50 and definitely going through the menopause - have been having hot and cold flushes and no period for 8 months or so.

I have no known health issues and I am pretty fit and very slim. Suffering from some general fatigue but still going running and walking. But a few times have noticed something odd - when I have been doing something standing up for a while, usually in the kitchen - I get this feeling like my legs are really tired - a kind of achy, weak feeling - like I really have to sit down. Could this be hormonal?

It could be and it could also mean you need your thyroid checked.

I had exactly the same thing you describe and also occasionally in my arms....they'd go all 'rubbery' for no reason, like I'd been carrying heavy boxes.

When it was discovered I had hypothyroidism and I was put on Levothyroxine it gradually stopped.

But crucially I went on HRT around the same time so it could've been that, that stopped it?
