Hoping for like minded thoughts on this

I’m almost 40. Came off the mirena coil in august. Reasoning behind this was my periods were going bonkers. Irregular. Bleeding for three weeks at a time etc.

since coming off I’ve experienced the following (although not every month). Night sweats. Higher levels of anxiety. Irritability. Occasional dizziness. Headaches more frequently. Difficulty sleeping. Stress. Bloating. Weight gain. Confusion.

all of the above tells me it could be the start of perimenopause. or it could be my body coming off the hormones. Maybe.

visit to GP?

Hey! @SpillerGlitter Not brilliant!

turns out I have breast cancer. Which could have possibly messed with my hormones and caused all the flip flopping re periods.

good news is that I am getting treatment (diagnosis 19 aug and all the scans and started chemo on 30 aug. Three rounds down) and the treatment has or will kick start menopause in me. So two things to deal with. Hooray!!!!! 🙄
