Aged 45. I am on Evorel patches 75 and uterogestan ( about to go on merina coil) My aches have gone although that is partially down to turmeric but my mind is still a mess. Irritable, anxious, forgetful, depeessed etc. I was talking to someone who I have met before and didn't recognise her.
Looking back I have always been scatty with very poor mental health. Do i just need a lobotomy?! Will testosterone help?

Oh and i do crazy shifts including nights which dosn't help.

Hey there! You probably don't need a lobotomy! Or at least no more than the rest of us!
If you have the time take a look at Georgia Ede on youtube, she is a psychiatrist from the US and her take is that a lot out current mental health issues are down to diet. It may not be the entire answer, but I found it very informative. I have changed my diet in the last 2 years and have really noticed an improvement in mental clarity. Could be a placebo effect, but if it works, who cares?!

You might need to adjust your dose and I have read that T can also help. I increased my HRT and the brain fog has improved somewhat but not gone, and some days are better than others. I'm considering asking for T but wary of side effects.

I'm on a much higher dose of oestrogen than you and even then it was only the testosterone that helped with the brain fog.
Did nothing for libido though 🙄 .
