Sequential to continuous HRT - hair loss

My doctor a few months back suggested I should change from sequential to continuous HRT as I’d been on sequential about 3-4 years. Same brand/dosage/overall ingredients (Ellesse). I wasn’t expecting any issue, but I realised after two to three months that I was having problems sleeping again and my hair was starting to fall out (the symptoms that led me to take HRT in the first place). I switched back (I still have some sequential pills) and the sleep issue quickly resolved, but two months later my hair is still falling out and starting to look thin. Help! Has anyone else experienced this? Any advice? I will speak to my GP too when I can get an appointment. Thanks in advance for any words of wisdom.
