Brilliant product to get patches to stay on

This might be really widely known and I'm an idiot, but I just bought some tattoo aftercare plasters and they're a game-changer.

Clear, thin, DO NOT PEEL UP AT THE EDGES. Also cheap - 50 for a fiver.

ah top tip! I have a terrible time getting the patches to stay stuck for as long as they're meant to stay on. I had a snotty note from the surgery last time I ordered a repeat prescription to say I couldn't possibly need any more because i'd only ordered them recently. I think in 12 months I've probably been through 18 months worth of patches. I had a call with their prescribing pharmacist last week but it was pretty pointless as she wasn't able to offer an alternative and all she did was tell me what I already know about applying them to clean dry skin, not moisturising first etcetc

Just ordered these after the last two patches started peeling off after a day. No idea if it’s a bad batch or my skins gone funny!

I think some batches are definitely worse than others @GaladrielHiggins I've had some recently that have barely lasted 24 hours whereas others cos the full 3-4 days with me sweating and swimming daily.

I wondered if it was because I’d started exercising more, but Pilates is hardly likely to get a patch to peel off! And it’s not like I have extra patches to spare either.

I always have a box of "spares" on the go, so if any drop off I use one out of that box then i still have enough in the current month to replace them on schedule. I usually write "SPARES" on the lid of the box so I don't get them mixed up but it does mean that every few months I have to order them more frequently than the surgery clearly expects me to!
