Spotting for around 3 weeks

I've been on everol sequi 50 since last October before that I was taking Cerelle mini-pill for about 8 years with no periods started with every symptom possible in October 2021 but took a year of checking blood pressure as I have high blood pressure but take medication and fsh blood tests anyway stated the patches stayed on mini-pill for contraception I haven't had withdrawal bleeds what are supposed to happen but had a period January this year 4 months into patches then another July so 6 months apart then September 2 months apart now for past 3 weeks spotting and when wiping sometimes pinkish sometimes brownish I'm on a waiting list to see a menopause specialist as my symptoms came back after 3'months on patches I wanted to up the dose GP said due to blood pressure etc would need to see someone so not sure if the spotting is because I need a higher dose or something else I've been on the waiting list since March

Just an update I had a telephone appointment about the above GP totally dismissed the bleeding/spotting told me off for being on the mini-pill told me to come off it immediately as I don't need contraception as my blood tests last year said I was no longer ovulating but then contradicted himself when I said I'd had 3 irregular periods this year by saying well I'm not concerned about any of that because until you've gone 12 months without a period then it's not post menopausal bleeding but if I'm not ovulating why did I have these periods and surely I need contraception or am I really stupid
