Peri and the sweats

Please I need any advice, I'm getting so sweaty down there and it's smelly. I've tried keeping it Shaved,grown, washes, the wipes, talc, leaving it alone, cotton underwear etc. Within 20 mins of having a shower I start to sweat and it starts to smell, I feel so self conscious by it.

Wash with bar soap twice a day, rinse well. Cotton underwear, like you’re doing. Don’t put talc in your knicker area.
Are you on HRT?

No not on hrt my levels haven't dropped enough apparently to be put on them I'll try what you have suggested thank you

Try using underwear made for leaks or light periods. Make sure you wash pubic hair properly, use an anti bacterial bar soap on the hair.

I didn't know this was a peri thing? Are you sure you don't have an infection?

Don't think it's an infection as its been happening for over a year, I'm 42 so just assumed its a peri thing as I also get flushes. Its around the area that gets smelly and there's no rash, redness or soreness to indicate a infection.

I'm so glad someone asked this! I thought there was something seriously wrong with me at first, then I thought it could maybe be hormonal... I've been using femfresh wash and some pessaries a few times a week which has helped loads

Can I ask what the smell is like?
I've noticed a smell recently, not an infection or being unclean etc

What pessaries are you using? Presumably prescription?

It's the Balance Active moisture plus ones. They also do ones for BV which might be worth trying perhaps? I also treated for thrush to try and cover all bases.

OP peri menopause is treated on symptoms not blood tests.

Ask for a trial of HRT, my sweats stopped within a week, age 44
