Evorel Sequi and missing period - when to start?

Hi,

Just been prescribed Evorel sequi for awful peri symptoms but struggling to know when to start using it.

I've read the leaflet that says within 5 days of my period starting, however my cycle is all over the place and this month's period is nowhere to be seen. I am at a total loss when to start the patches as I don't want to screw up my cycle further by starting at the wrong time! Or am I just overthinking and should crack on?

Can any experienced MNetters offer advice? Thanks!

I just started as soon as I got the prescription, my periods were so irregular I’d have had to have waited 3 months if I followed the instructions.

Thanks for this - I think perhaps this is what I need to do.

I had this exact problem and the GP confirmed it was OK just to start it.

Good luck! I’m only a week in so still assessing how things are going.
