Feeling very low, emotional and irritable

I'm peri.

Recently went to a&e with heavy bleeding and large clot loss. Since then I've been on noresthisterone, the pill & iron tablets.

I've noticed this past week I've been incredibly low and irritable and just hurting into tears all the time.

Is this just the menopause of the tablets or anaemia?

My partner isn't supportive at all and has no empathy so that's not helping matters.

I asked for anti depressants but the dr said to wait until my anaemia is sorted before I try anti depressants.

I can't have HRT because I have the blood clotting gene.

It could definitely be menopause. I’m on HRT and still have periods of feeling as you describe. I’m finding the change in season hasn’t helped either. I don’t really have any suggestions other than to try and take things one at a time. It sounds sensible to get the anaemia under control first as that’s likely to be affecting your energy and mood.

Thanks for the reply.
I've never felt so lost. I feel I need help to be honest.

It seems strange these low period has come on so quickly since having anaemia and starting al these tablets.
