Hi i'm on the gel for 14 days then gel and uterogestan for 14 days. I have a bleed 2 or 3 days after stopping the utereogestan, I have a fair amount of period pain on the first day of the bleed and this is likely to happen on an event coming up when I really can't be out of action. I want to delay the bleed for a couple of days and want to know if anyone has had success doing this and what did they do? i'm thinking either delay starting the uterogestan so do 16 days gel only then 14 days both. Or do 14 days gel as usual but take the uterogestan for 16 days instead of 14. Both ways would basically make my cycle 30 days so hopefully the bleed would be after the event. Is it ok to do this as a one off, will it work and is it safe?
