Help- unsure whether to start the Utrogestan!

Prescribed Oestrogel and Utrogestan mid October. Started the Oestrogel 2 pumps on 22nd Oct but not the Utrogestan as should start on Day 15 of my cycle.

Issue is that periods become irregular last 6 months so last period was 6th Sep, October missed and now expect next one today. However no sign of it.

My question is should I start the Utrogestan on day 15 of this next cycle (so 17th Nov) even if period never arrives?

Or just wait for next period then 14 days from then?

Or should I just start it now?

As your periods are irregular, I would just start the utrogestan and let it create a HRT cycle. Then take it for 12-14 days then stop and start it again the same date next month or take 2 weeks on and two weeks off.

@Christine0708 thanks for your reply. I also just checked with GP and she clarified that actually you MUST start taking Utrogestan 15 days after you start Oestrogen regardless of whether your period starts. Good to know otherwise it's actually harmful to be taking oestrogen without progesterone and potentially I would have been waiting a few more weeks!
