I started on HRT at the start of this year, firstly on Elleste Duet 2mg and then to Femoston. Various peri symptoms (I'm 45) but the most debilitating ones have been insomnia and anxiety. Both really affecting my ability to function.
I got my bloods checked before starting HRT and my estrogen levels were at the floor...so no hesitation from GP to start me on HRT.
Anyway, neither tablet is working, the 2 weeks of progesterone are particularly bad for me and next week I'm starting on Evorel 50 patches and medroxyprogesterone. GP hopes that having the continual dose of estrogen will help? I guess I'm wondering if anyone had been in a similar boat and had success (or not?) from this transition!
