Forgot Oestrogen patch on holiday

Oleaginus · 30/10/2023 08:28

Hi all, I'm on holiday for a week. I thought I packed my Evodot patches, but have forgotten. I packed the progesterone tablets. Can I still take the progesterone as usual and continue with the patch when I get home? TIA.

Edit: the patch is called Estrodot.

Same here although I have mirena for progesterone. Total guess but I think keep taking the progesterone as it is protective against the effects of the estrogen. I am keeping my last patch on until it falls off. It is only a week.

I would and keep the patch on until it drops off - was it fresh on the day you left?

Where are you on holiday? In some countries (eg Spain) I think you can buy estrogen in pharmacies.

No. Arrived yesterday and due to be changed today. Home Saturday. Not quite a week.

Thanks for that. It's really getting some reassurance here that something awful won't happen!Grin

Thanks for all the replies - I feel more relaxed about it now, although I'm furious with myself for forgetting it, considering I )thought) I packed it and thinking to myself @at least that's sorted". I'm an idiot.Blush
