Ok surgical Menopause in 2018 HRT since 2019

Messed about with doses during the summer but I thought it had settled down

Last 10 days-2weeks I have been having clod flushes exactly how I remember the hot flushes

So bizarre!

I have assumed they are meno related but has anyone else had them?

Maybe just get your thyroid checked as I am now cold nearly all the time and have thyroid issue and just started meds.

I've got a blood test booked for later in the month for thyroid so fingers crossed

That's good Katy ask them also check antibodies, as sometimes issues do not just show up on standard test. Hope you get to the bottom of it.

Yes, I had the occasional cold flush as well as endless hot flushes. Now on HRT and haven’t had any cold flushes since, only the rare hot flush.
The cold flushes were quite weird and difficult to explain to others, so you are not alone.

My test is tomorrow, but I've had a few dodgy ones so I'm getting ready to make a fuss

I reckon it will just be a standard thyroid test is it tsh & t4? I reckon I need my t3 checking too

They were supposed to retest in January but they forgot and my hrt consultant reminded them in July so they finally booked it

Sept 22

I also have chronic fatigue/ME, fibromyalgia ins hypermobility and I'm passed off with feeling crap all the time

But it could be menopause...
