I have a coil fitted but it is 6 years old. I have been waiting 15 months for the coil to be changed as gel and the coil was what my gp suggested. My gp thought it would be changed within a few months but its been 15 months. I have an appointment at the hospital tomorrow and now I am confused to whether the best thing would be to have the coil changes and carry on with the gel or just have it removed and continue with the Ustrogestan 100 and gel?
Help!
