Hi
So wonder if anyone has advice. Not had period for 6 months then last week had a tiny show, and I mean an odd spot only when I wiped then gone didn't even last a day. Is this classed as a period?
And also not had hot flush till August now they seem to have stopped not sure whether this is the magnesium I'm taking as they stopped 2 weeks after starting them. Has anyone else had hot flushes that have stopped with magnesium or is this just something that will return ??

I am sorry I am not sure of the answer to your question and I was hoping someone might know too. I have been 11 months exactly without a period and was looking forward to getting to month 12 and being officially in the menopause for a slight bleed to happen this week - its not heavy but I have real period pain. So I guess I have to start counting back to month one again. I havent had hot flushes so unfortunately I cannot advise but lack of sleep and anxiety were my two main symptoms but thankfully dare I say it they are not as bad as they were! Take care

It could be mid-cycle bleeding and the period is yet to come?

Just thought I’d comment as I’m in the same position - have a mega period in July 22 , then spotting in Jan 23 and now a tiny tiny tiny spot in Dec 23 .. also presuming I need to start counting again

Hi has anyone had a similar experience
I'd gone 6 months without a period then had one for 2 weeks really heavy. So doc put me on provera which worked and stopped me for 4 days then I've been spotting ever since. So basically I'm constantly spotting.
Doc is sending me for scan and sausage I might have to have Coil or medication to stop the bleeding (if all is normal on scan)
But has anyone else been constantly spotting and with lower back pain?
And what did you do to stop the bleed?

Hi
Constantly bleeding 6 weeks now after having no period for 6 months
Doc put me on provera but I'm still bleeding lightly
Had scan, ultra sound. swabs etc all normal so doc says it hormone related and is taking about giving me the coil but I'm a bit hesitant about it. So have anyone else has the coil for excessive bleeding and did it work ???
Or is there anything else I could try that good for this ???
