Elleste Duet - weight gain

After 6 months of crying daily, my GP prescribed Elleste Duet 1mg. I felt much better except sex drive reduced and significant weight gain. Now at 47 I have some serious heart issues and need to shift some weight - is there a better option? Gel or patches? Should I stop the HRT?

Op I had patch but gained alot weight. Feel it added to other issues oily glands on my back just made it worse. Hrt did not really suit me.. but we all different. I was on evorel 50 then 75 then back on 50.
