Well I hope that it's the menopause that's stopped the periods and not anything else.

I have been regular as anything since aged 10 and a quarter - every 4-5 weeks. The last couple of years they've been more erratic 3-6 weeks but now it's been 10 weeks. This also happens to coincide with having sex(would have been days 16/17 and again 10/11 days later) with a new /old fella, who had a vasectomy some years ago and given that and my age, we've not bothered with any contraception (don't!). We are both in the middle of divorces with 4 teens between us. I've done 3 pregnancy tests in the last month but in the day not in the morning and they've all been negative. The ironic thing is I say new/old fella as we dated at uni for 2 years and had a termination with him. I completely believe him about the vasectomy and getting it verifies as he's been so open about so many other things I can't believe he'd lie about that.

Are there any tests I can get done to work out what's going on?
