formulating a plan - any experience with Estraderm or Fem Seven?

Seeing my GP on Thursday and going to ask her to up my HRT from 75 to 100mcg as I am struggling. But this is going to be difficult as I don't do well on the gel at all, I had a terrible time on it last Christmas with full on panic attacks. And the brand of patch which is widely available is Evorel, and the glue brings me out in an awful rash (although the patches do control my symptoms). I do best on Estradot but 100 mcg patches are completely unavailable at the moment.

So what do I do - ask for 2 x 50 mcg Estradot or a 25 in addition to my 75, or try Estraderm or Fem Seven patches instead?

I am wary of switching patch brands to be honest as last time I switched to gel my symptoms were through the roof.

Any experiences?

Have you tried Evorel patches, how’d you get on? X

I reckon you should ask for 2 x 50 Estrodot if that's the brand you get on best with. If you explain you're allergic to Evorel hopefully the GP will be sympathetic.

GP was fairly sympathetic but more concerned with my high cholesterol (potentialy thyroid related) than estrogen. I am sticking with 75 patches for the mo, and she's prescribed me estrogen cream to help with the atrophy.
