Starting evro sequi...waiting for period!

Hi, taken the plunge and going to start HRT. Last period was 43 days ago and I know I ideally need to wait until the first day of period. What happens if I don't and start now?

I just started as i was in discomfort and it doesn't seem to have ended the world......yet - period came when expected and no breakthrough bleeding
