Fibroids supposedly shrinking after the menopause

Hello, the advice is often that fibroids shrink after the menopause. It says this on the NHS website and numerous other sources. However if you dig deeper and read some of the specialists websites or speak to them in person they often advise that this is just not the case and that fibroids often stay static or shrink very little. Does anyone have any experience of this happening? Or alternatively if yours didn’t budge! Many thanks
