Confused by Superdrug testosterone

My gel has come today but the patient information leaflet is written in what looks like font size 5, and is telling me to check my prostate šŸ™„ I’m actually angry at how bad it is.

How do others take it? Is it one syringe per morning? On the abdomen?

I have emailed them to complain but they take a while to respond.

Well testosterone isn’t licensed for women in the UK so the patient information leaflets won’t be designed for or aimed at women…

The prescribing doctor should have told you the dose prescribed and how to take it.

I was prescribed it by a nurse practitioner and she told me to completely ignore the leaflet as the product is for men and the leaflet is written for men. It even says in capital letters on the leaflet that the product is not to be used by women. But the prescriber had given me separate instructions for appropriate dosage and the dosage was also printed on the label stuck to the outside of the box.

I stopped taking it as it brought back the horrendous acne that I had had for most of my adult life until about 5 years ago, and no amount of increased libido or mental clarity was going to be worth that for me. I hope you have better luck with it šŸ¤ž
