Anyone find HRT makes them anxious?

No.
What are you on ?

WhereAreWeNow · 08/10/2023 16:51

No, it really helped my anxiety. Anxiety was one of the main reasons I started HRT. When my dose has been wrong the anxiety has reappeared.

GreenVelvetCushions · 08/10/2023 18:31

Just a low dose.
I stopped taking it for a while because by anxiety was sky high.

My body was so stiff and achy I decided to try it again. But after a fee days of a very low dose of oestrogen I feel exhausted and anxious. Dreading the progesterone part.

I am wondering if I may be oestrogen dominant.. would this mean I shouldn't take HRT?

It might be that the dose is too low.

GreenVelvetCushions · 09/10/2023 07:26

Hmm came off it because it was high and I felt like that was the issue

Oh no! That's the GP's fault for not making it clear to you. Also the chemist!
