Is this bleeding a concern?

After a few years of irregular bleeding I started sequential hrt April last year, so started having regular monthly bleed. Before that I hadn't had a period for about 10/11 months. This May I was switched to continuous hrt (taking utrogestan daily rather than 14 days of month). Since then, I've stopped bleeding completely. However, yesterday I started spotting. Is that unexplained post-meno bleeding that needs looking at? I'm assuming I don't count the 'hrt' monthly bleeds as real periods, so am a bit confused about when my last 'real' period was now to know if I've gone a year or not, if that makes sense?

Your dr ought to have explained that erratic bleeding is par for the course, for 6 months, with continuous HRT in post-menopause.

In women who are not post menopause, their own periods can break through which is why continuous is not used until a year after a natural period or age over 54.
