I have always had a gap in my teeth after not wearing my brace as a child for sufficient enough time. It's never really bothered me before but lately I've noticed the gap is getting bigger... could this be caused by menopause... I'm worried its just going to get bigger ugh. Will book a dentist appointment but just wondered if anyone else had experienced something similar.

Thank you ☺️

Yes! It looked awful. I had composite bonding to fill the gap but now they’ve moved back and are crossing over slightly at the front! I feel my whole bite/jaw has changed too. Hate it x

My mouth and teeth issues were not a symptom of menopause I was expecting, 😕 ever since the start of peri I"ve begun clenching during the day and whilst sleeping too, I'm actively trying to stop myself.

No nor me. I always thought it meant hot flushes. How naive I was

Happened to me too. My top front two teeth always crossed over slightly and then all of a sudden there was a gap! Have no idea why. It's been made worse by an extraction of one of my upper molars 😭. And then to add insult to invite one of the front ones is starting to move forward and stick out. I have no idea if the dentist can do anything.

My teeth are moving too, but closing the gap between my 2 front ones. I was a bit worried it meant the roots were decaying but apparently not.
