Over the past few weeks I've developed a itch, at the top of my thighs, generally where the edge of my knickers sits, and also on my labia.

It's usually ok during the day but it's driving me dolally when I try to sleep at night. It's a constant tingling itch.

Any suggestions on how to alleviate the itch?

I take daily antihistamines as I have menopausal itch everywhere. It does drive you absolutely insane, like things crawling on you.

Excellent. I’ll get some antihistamines and see how I get on.

It’s bloody annoying being a woman. All the things our bodies go through throughout our lives. It’s exhausting!

thank you @OhhhhhhhhBiscuits

Does anybody else itch around their feet and ankles, it seems to kick in at night

I've had this. Antihistamine helped and also vagifem.

The only thing that has worked for me is an ice pack on the itchy area, usually my wrists and legs. I didn’t realise it was because of the menopause. Another wonderful thing to add to the list.

Antihistamines, ice packs, cold baths/showers, sitting in front of a fan, thin natural fabrics. If it gets too much slapping the itch is better than scratching as it won’t damage the skin.

Anything that makes the itching actually go away? Have been using Vagifem for nearly a year, itch started at start of summer (put it down to heat irritation), just started on Oestrogel (2 weeks in). Have been slathering on Eurax anti itch cream, but will the Oestrogel eventually improve it??
