Headaches and migraines

I'm on day two of my latest migraine and I'm so sick of it.

I get phantom smoke smells in my nose in the lead up to it and they're every two weeks now.

I've just ordered some B2 vitamins to see if that helps.

Has anyone else had this and found a cure? I'm living in constant fear of a migraine.

I'm 42 and am sure it's perimenopause.

Magnesium L-Threonate crosses the blood brain barrier, so it might help.

Have you seen the GP? I tried various triptans on prescription and finally Rizatriptan was like a wonder drug. To say it changed my life is not a massive overstatement.
Good luck

You need triptans. I have had to try a few different ones but only Rizatriptan works for me. I also take Candesartan daily and was put on the mini pill at the start of the year as mine are seemingly hormone related.

If you’re having recurrent migraines it might be worth looking in to a preventative. I’m on a low dose of propranolol & it seems to be really helping! Wish I’d been prescribed it years ago
