My hair is falling out?!

Is this yet another thing caused by the bloody menopause? I've been perimenopausal for about 18 months and so far my teeth have started crumbling, which tbf I'm not particularly happy about. And now my hair is falling out! And my bloody phone doesn't have perimenopausal as a predicted word!

Anyway, moving on from my rant, does anyone know of any way of reducing my rapid approach towards baldness?

Hi @MrsEdnaWelthorpe
Eating seeds and nuts (almonds, walnuts, cashew) really help with hair. I also take an iron supplement.

@MrsEdnaWelthorpe I feel your pain! My hair has been getting thinner and falling out significantly since peri. I noticed it's worse when I am really anaemic, I take peri supplements, iron and B vits, also just started on greens, which all helps with the hair issue and other peri symptoms. I don't dye my hair with chemical based dye and haven't done for years. I use henna based dye and have noticed that it leaves my hair feeling softer and looking fuller, and has eased my dry scalp issues too!

HRT and Regaine.

I just wrote a massive post about both but lost the fucker. So try both, in short.

Just also get your thyroid checked, perimenopause does mimic and overlap thyroid issues.

Hair loss and weight gain being overlaps.

My hairdresser recommended sleeping with a silk cap.
