I have an appointment booked to see the GP next week, and a private appointment to see a recommended specialist in about 4 weeks to discuss all things menopause.

I have been on patches for about 2 years, 75mcg ones. I don't think they are working as well any more. I have recently suffered a horrendous bout of anxiety, having the occasional hot flush again, vaginal dryness. My hair is coming out at a much faster rate than it ever has in the past, it's really noticeable (to me) how much there is on the hairbrush and coming out in the shower.

I am on estrogen patches only because I have had a hysterectomy. I don't know if I need more estrogen, or something else like progesterone or testosterone - some sites day testosterone will help, others that testosterone will make it worse.

I am taking a daily "women's" multivitamin, folic acid, Vitamin D high strength, and biotin.

To complicate matters further I am also on thyroid medication and have been for years. I think I need a total MOT and full blood screen, don't I?
