Spring/Autumn hormone changes? Venting

Hi, I’m just posting for a vent.

Do any of you ever find that your perimenopause symptoms change slightly around spring or autumn time?

I think I have had a lot more anxiety lately. My anxious mind is telling me that I’m not anxious, I’m just being realistic about life. But I know that when I’m not feeling anxious the same life facts are true, they just don’t dominate my thoughts.

i.e. Anxious me = Thinks about all the things that could be difficult or go wrong in the future
Non-anxious me = Thinks about what I’m going to do today and has positive thoughts like aren’t I lucky and aren’t I doing well.

The dark nights are setting in, Christmas and all it entails coming, and the expense of heating the house is coming back. I’d say it’s the situation rather than the actual season.

@DustyLee123 I can understand why many people feel like that about winter. I don’t have kids and have a very sedate Christmas with minimum fuss. I get fed up getting up in the dark mornings but only at a level that I find it annoying.

I guess it is a time of change when the seasons change, and that can be unsettling when hormones are generally changing anyway. Change inside and outside!
