Anyone know about oestradiol levels??

I have been on HRT for 3 years, was wonderful initially, but seems to have tailed off in effectiveness. I've been told I'm on the max dose, which is 3-4 pumps of oestrogel and one utrogestan tablet a day. I suffer badly with sweats so recently I asked for a blood test to check my oestradiol levels, and it has come back as 84pmol/L. This appears to be low? I would really appreciate any insights into why it might be low given Im on max oestrogel, and what I can do about it. I have a GP appointment coming up and would like to be armed with lots of info about what I can do next to help ease my menopause symptoms! Thanks for any help.

Hi, 84 is a really low level for the dose you’re on which suggests you’re not absorbing efficiently. Might be worth trying a different delivery method i.e patches or spray

Mine was the same. I absorb the patch much better. Didn't absorb spray and the teeny tiny bottles in it are obscenely wasteful.
